The Residency Service deals with this area and, together with the Department of Health, announced the latest health insurance requirements. Under these arrangements, insurance can be simplified inside and outside the country to make it easier to obtain a golden visa.
Under the regulations, citizens working in Abu Dhabi can apply for a golden visa. Their employer pays for their health insurance. The second category includes other applicants arriving in the country alone or with family members. In this case, the latter must also receive medical insurance. A golden visa allows people to live, study, work in the UAE for a long time. The validity period of the permit varies from 5 to 10 years, depending on the case. A 10-year residence permit can also be obtained with investments in the country's economy for over AED 10,000,000.
